Lot Description
An early twentieth century Austrian silver cigarette case, the guilloché enamel cover with further painted central image of a semi-naked female, Austrian assay marks for Vienna, Silberwarenfabrik, Alex Sturm, numbered 28722. Height measuring 9 cm. Together with a rolled gold cigarette case, the front enamelled with a garden and female nude scene. (2).

Condition Report
The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
Some much heavier areas of tarnishing. Significant losses to both the enamelled scenes. Hinge pin to the rolled gold example may require attention. Some areas of deterioration to the rolled gold surface and finish, the two halves of this case also do not sit completely flush. Gilding to the interior of the Austrian example has worn.
