Lot Description

A Victorian silver tea caddy, the oval form embossed in high relief with foliate scrolls and with plain detachable cover. Hallmarked Charles Faraday & Samuel Davey, London 1893. Height measuring 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), weight 3.6 ozt (112 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous minor dents, particularly around the foot. Hallmarks a little worn, the maker's  mark in particular.
