Lot Description

A small Victorian silver dish, of circular outline with beaded rim enclosing a band of diamond shape and other decorative motifs to the plain centre. Hallmarked Roberts & Belk, Sheffield 1866. Diameter measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), weight 5.48 ozt (170.3 grams).

Condition Report

The dish displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous heavier scratches and nicks visible to the centre and underside. However, the overall condition appears fairly good. The hallmarks are clear and legible, slight rubbing to maker's mark.
