A set of Chinese silk ‘Mandarin Square’ rank badge silk robe panels. Comprising a rectangular back panel, worked in gilt and other metallic threads, with a Silver Pheasant (denoting Fifth Rank) flying flaming pearls and other emblems, and a matching pair of front panels forming a matching whole, each with blue backing, 10.5” x 11.25”, (26.5cm x 28.5cm).
