Lot Description

A good pair of Japanese ivory shibayama, white metal and enamel vases, each with tall waisted four lobed neck and wavy shoulder, both with polychrome enamel between zoomorphic fish handles, the ovoid ivory body inlaid in mother of pearl, coral, coconut shell, etc., with perching birds on blossoming boughs, raised on enamelled domed four legged supports, 6.3" (16cm) high. (2).
