Lot Description

A Scottish agate oval brooch, the arranged agate centre within an openwork outer surround. Length 6.9cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. There are patches of discolouration to the outer surround and areas of lead solder to the reverse, keeping thre plaque in place. There are some surface reaching inclusions to the agate. The pin has been replaced and is white metal. Weight 38.5gms.
