Lot Description

A silver plated twin-handled tea urn, with beaded rims and decorated with floral garlands and twin opposed vacant wreaths to the main body, the tap with ivory handle, the whole with an acorn shape finial to the domed lid and raised above a circular foot to a square base. Maximum height including finial measures 13 3/4 inches (35 cm).

The urn displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier tarnishing to some parts. General wear to the plating and there are numerous nicks and bobbles to the plating throughout. Some damage and possible repairs to the tap and splits and staining to the handle. Cracks visible around the top of one of the handles, possible repairs?
