Lot Description
A carved coral brooch and a jet brooch. The jet brooch designed as an oval outline with Maltese cross to the centre and engraved border, together with a coral brooch carved in the shape of a rose. Coral untested. Lengths 4 to 5.5cms. Weight of coral brooch 13.9gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is good to fair. The coral brooch has only light signs of wear with one small chip to the top edge. The pin to the reverse has some glue residue to it, probably as a result of a repair. The jet brooch has two significant chips to the edge, both approx 5mm across. There is also part of the Maltese cross deficient to one end. Surface scratches and some dirt also present.
