Lot Description
A pair of early 20th century Chinese jade and seed pearl ear pendants. Each designed as a jadeite panel, carved to read as 'happiness', suspended from a seed pearl lattice, to the circular jadeite cabochon and split pearl cluster surmount with filigree surround. Jade untested. Length 6cms. Weight 7.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One of the seed pearl lattices is slightly damaged and has been somewhat crudely repaired, may require attention.
<li>Seed pearls untested for natural origin.
<li>Wear to the gilt finish.
<li>Jadeite is a mottled medium to light green hue. High polish.
<li>Length of panel 2.4cms. Approximate diameter of cabochon 6.7mms.
<li>Stamped China, silver, maker's mark possibly WU or NM.
