Lot Description

A cased set of George V silver fish servers, the elliptical blade having central foliate and scroll pierced panel with similar decoration to the five prong fork, each having ivory handle, hallmarked Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1919, length of server measuring 11 inches (28 cm). Together with a cased pair of 1920's serving spoons with foliate pierced terminals, hallmarked London 1925, and a similarly decorated silver plated serving fork in fitted case. (3).

The fish servers display tarnishing, wear and rubbing commensurate with age and use. Hallmarks appear rubbed but legible, with matching hallmarks to collars. The pair of spoons and fork in similar condition with surface scratches, nicks and general wear. Heavier wear around the tips of the spoon bowls and to the tips of fork prongs. The hallmarks to the spoons are clear and legible.
