A French inlaid tortoiseshell purse, having vacant shield cartouche within elaborate foliate border to the hinged cover, opening to reveal a concertina interior with further brass mounted concealed compartment. Interior mount marked Brevete S.G.D.G. Length measures 3 4/8 inches (9 cm).
