Lot Description

A Danish import Art Deco silver compact, of plain square form having stepped reeded edge and conforming thumb-piece, opening to reveal a vacant powder compartment and mirror to the hinged cover. Marked to the thumb-piece Georg Jenson, Denmark Sterling, and import marks for Georg Jenson, London 1936. Length measures 3 1/8 inches (8 cm), weight exclusive of mirror 3.65 ozt (113.5 grams).

Condition Report

Overall in good to fair condition commensurate with age and use. Exterior with general surface scratches and small dent to cover. Interior mirror is detached but present and in fair condition with few light scratches. Marks throughout are all clear and legible.
