A late 18th century 9ct gold mourning brooch. Of oval-shape outline, the woven hair panel with overlaid monogram. Personal engraving to reverse reads 'Mary Ann Parkin Obt 13 dec 1795 at 13 yrs 6m'. Length 2.6cms. Weight 4.4gms.
