Lot Description

A late 19th century gold amethyst clasp and two drops. The clasp set with an octagonal-shape amethyst, each of the drops set with an oval-shape amethyst. Length of clasp 1.8cms. Length of drops 1.3cms each. Total weight 7.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Drops are a well matched deep purple hue. The clasp is amedium purple hue. Some colour zoning.<p>

<li>Amethyst are in fair to good condition, one drop with noticeable chip to the pavillion, octagonal-shape clasp with some deep surface scratches, general light abrasion and minor nicks.<p>
