An early 19th century mahogany cased longcase clock, Joshua Allsopp, East Smithfield, the 11-inch brass chapter ring having Roman numerals and Arabic minutes framing a matted and engraved centre with subsidiary alarm dial above date window, within pierced spandrels and below a moon-phase dial, signed 'Josh Allsopp, East Smithfield, London', the twin-barrel five-pillar movement striking on a bell, within a mahogany case having fluted columns and short door over a stepped base, 92", (241cm) high.

Dial is in fair condition displaying general wear and tarnishing with some scratching, light wear to fittings and moon dial, damage to hour hand. Movement is untested. Case with lifting and scratching to veneer, one block missing inside hood and with general cracks and splits throughout.
