Lot Description

A 1920's silver salver, the circular form with Chippendale style border to a plain centre and raised on four stylised hoof feet. Hallmarked Barker Brothers Silver Ltd., Birmingham 1928. Diameter measures 12 inches (30.5 cm), weight 27.56 ozt (857 grams).

Condition Report

The salver appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general expected wear and tarnishing. Numerous surface marks and scratches are visible to the plain centre including some quite long scratches. No personal engravings. It wobbles very slightly on its feet. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
