A Franklin Mint Bird plate, depicting an etching of 'Bobwhite' by Richard Evans Younger, with certificate of authenticity dated Aug 18 1972, confirming serial no. 1254. Marked solid sterling silver limited edition 1254 to the medallion affixed to the back of the plate. Width measures 8 inches (20.5 cm), weight 6.2 ozt (194.8 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor scuffs and scratches to the top of the plate and across the decoration. Comes with a certificate of authenticity, a booklet and a letter from the Franklin Mint and a material dust bag. Marked solid sterling silver limited edition 1254 to the medallion affixed to the back of the plate.
