A continental, probably Hanau, spice container modelled as a rooster with articulated wings and detachable cover to reveal a pierced grille. Height measuring 6 3/8 inches (16 cm).

Condition Report

Appears of white metal. The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Numerous dints and bumps. The feet are not quite balanced correctly, so doesn't quite stand flat. Some areas appearing with somewhat crude workmanship.
