An Edwardian silver mounted candlestick, having a circular silver socket leading to tortoiseshell stem with filigree decoration upon a domed tortoiseshell base with further filigree decoration and gadrooned rim, hallmarked William Comyns & Sons, London 1905, height measures 4 2/8 inches (10.8 cm). Together with a modern Britannia silver photograph frame, the square form with cherub heads to each corner amidst embossed floral decoration surrounding a vacant cartouche and easel back support, hallmarked Birmingham 1990. (2).

Condition Report
The candlestick appears in good overall condition displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Some tarnishing to the silver mounts and residues of old polish are visible. A few knocks and minor dints around the silver rim of drip-pan. Hallmarks partly distorted. Photograph frame displays some tarnishing throughout and surface marks and scratches. A few minor surface dints and creases, especially to the circular rim. Wood easel back ok. Hallmarks a little rubbed but still legible.
