Lot Description

A small silver trophy cup of Art Nouveau style, the planished circular bowl with engraved personal inscription, supported by a tri-form curved stem leading to a circular splayed foot, the whole raised upon a stepped plinth. Hallmarked Wakely & Wheeler, London 1953. Height inclusive of plinth measures 3 7/8 inches (10cm), weight excluding plinth 3.7 ozt (116.8 grams).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Engraved with 'Coronation Trophy 1956 Fraulein Frick of Catharden.' Some loss of definition to the planished surface. Hallmarks clear and legible.
