Lot Description

Two 1920's silver mounted jewellery or trinket boxes, each of circular form with hinged cover decorated with shades of blue guilloche enamel, opening to reveal silver-gilt and material lined interiors, one with engraved personal inscription, both raised upon three feet, hallmarked Birmingham 1925 and 1929, diameter of largest measures 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm). (2).

Condition Report

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A few heavier scratches to the enamel. Minor dints. One is thread bare to the underside. Lining loose. Remnants of polish. Hallmarks rubbed in areas but overall legible.
