Lot Description
A late Victorian silver mounted blue glass scent bottle, of faceted cylindrical form with plain silver neck mount and hinged lid, with a later clear glass stopper. Mounts hallmarked C C May & Sons (Charles May), Birmingham 1898. Height measuring 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).

Condition Report
The scent bottle displays general expected surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Some tarnishing to the silver mounts and some minor dints and bumps. Hinged lid appears in good working order, some heavier marks visible to interior of lid. Many minor edge chips and nicks to glass bottle and a couple of larger chips to base rim. Hallmarked to neck and lid and all legible.
