Lot Description
A twentieth century silver mounted wine cooler, the twin-handled cylindrical form with everted rim above foliate pierced panels to a plain lower body and wood base. Hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., Sheffield, probably 1938. Height measuring 6 5/8 inches (16.8 cm), gross weight inclusive of wood base 21.39 ozt (665.4 grams).

Condition Report
The wine cooler appears in good overall condition, displaying some general light wear and tarnishing, surface marks and scratches. Some heavier tarnishing and staining to the interior base and the wood veneer is very worn and rubbed. Hallmarks are clear and legible.
