Lot Description

A pair of 1920's silver bonbon dishes, each of circular form with applied and shaped reeded rim to a fluted centre and raised on a short spread foot. Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1926. Diameter measuring 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm), weight 4.94 ozt (153.7 grams).

Condition Report

The dishes display general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches. The circular forms are slightly misshapen. There is loss of definition to the fluted centres and several heavier scratches and nicks are visible. Hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's marks appear a little rubbed but still legible.
