Lot Description

A mid Victorian portrait memorial pendant. Of oval outline, to one side a blue enamel border, to a glazed woven hair panel, the other with a painted portrait of a gentleman. Length 5.1cms. Weight 17.5gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is good to fair, with scratches to the metal and glass in keeping with age and wear. There are two chips to the interior of the glass covering the portrait. One of the rivets to the outer edge is protruding a fraction of a millimetre. The hair panel is lined in cream coloured fabric, which has some brown marking to it. Condition reports are provided as a guide only and we recommend you inspect each lot in order to satisfy yourself as to their condition.
