Lot Description

A mid Victorian 9ct gold foil back garnet and split pearl pendant. Designed as a circular garnet with scroll detail to the setting, suspending two chains set with seed pearls, to the quatrefoil collet-set garnets, and a further pear-shape garnet drop. Length 6cms. Weight 2.7gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is good, with light surface marks to the gold and gems in keeping with general wear. The split pearls are well matched. Discolouration to the gold, particularly to the reverse. Stamped 9ct to the back.
