Lot Description

A late Victorian 15ct gold brooch. Of oval outline, the raised central panel engraved with a butterfly, flowers and leaves, to the outer border of engraved clovers. Hallmark for Birmingham, 1885. Length 4.2cms. Weight 5.5gms.

The condition of this lot is good to fair, with light surface scratches to the gold. The reverse has some discolouration and it appears that there may originally have been a glazed panel to the reverse.
