Lot Description

A late 19th century French cream-painted mantel clock.
Vincenti & Cie, Paris, the 4-inch white-enamelled convex Arabic dial with two-train movement having Exposition stamp and number 1200, striking on a bell, the unusual case, later cream-painted, with drum-head housing and laurel wreath decoration between cast gilt-metal bird monopodiae, on bead-edged platform base and four bun feet, 11.5", (29cm) high.
