Lot Description

An early twentieth century novelty silver paper knife, the plain tapered form pierced with a hunt chase scene, hallmarked London 1910, length measuring 11 1/4 inches (28.5 cm). Together with a continental cigarette case, stamped 950 CPK, length measuring 4 3/4 inches (12 cm). Gross weight 8 ozt (254 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The paper knife is quite creased and dented, there are also solder repairs around the first largest pierced animal, distorting the front foot, no maker's mark visible. Cigarette case with some heavier areas of tarnishing, hinge and clasp in good working order.
