Lot Description

A set of eighteen 1930's silver matchbox holders, each of plain rectangular form. Hallmarked S J Rose & Son, London 1936 and 1937. Measuring 1 3/4 inches (4.5 cm) by 1 1/8 inches (2.8 cm), weight 9.83 ozt (305.8 grams).

Condition Report

All the holders displaying general wear and tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. All with surface marks and scratches and minor nicks. A couple with remnants of sticker marks. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but mostly clear and legible.
