Two painted portrait miniatures, the first example depicting a head and shoulder study of a woman in eighteenth century dress, possibly Marie Antoinette, indistinctly signed lower right, in oval bass metal frame with ribbon surmount, inscription verso, 3.25" x 2.5" (8.5cm x 6.5cm), the second example possibly Sarah Siddons, signed by the same hand, in oval base metal frame with foliate scroll surmount, inscribed verso 'Madame Siddons', 3.5" x 2.75" (9cm x 7cm).
