A mid 19th century mahogany wheel barometer. The 9.5-inch silvered main dial, with engraved sunburst, reading from 28 to 31 inches of pressure with Remarks, the ebony- and boxwood-strung trunk with swan-neck pediment over Dry/Damp, ethanol Fahrenheit thermometer, mirror with reeded slip, and spirit level stamped WARRANTED CORRECT, 42.5", (108cm) high, (s/d).

Condition Report
Pediment may well be an old replacement and has cracks through swan necks. Dry damp lacks glazing and is loose in surround. Veneer adjuster beneath main dial is missing. No glazing to spirit level. Rear door is missing hinges. Overall - numerous flaws, sold as seen.
