An early 20th century silver mesh bag. With a square frame engraved with a cable-like design, to the acorn shape kiss-clasp, mesh bag lined with pale-grey suede, with a belcher-link chain handle. Hallmark for London, 1929. Lengths 38cms. Weight 362.8gms.

The condition of this lot is fair, with heavy tarnish to the mesh, particularly to the upper area. The chain, frame and clasp are also tarnished. The suede lining has general dirt and some brown staining, consistent with use.
