Lot Description
A continental silver cigarette case, the hinge opening rectangular form with canted corners and having an enamel scene to the front depicting a horse and jockey jumping a fence, within a further enamelled geometric border. Austria-Hungary assay marks including the Dianakopf, also impressed 900 and a further twice struck mark 'FB'. Measuring 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm) by 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm), gross weight 5.69 ozt (177 grams).
