Lot Description

A set of four continental open salts, the openwork frames with hanging floral swags in between three tapered legs, the clear glass liner resting on top of the rim. Indistinctly marked. Height measuring 2 1/8 inches (5.5 cm), gross weight exclusive of liners 8.9 ozt (277.6 grams).

Condition Report

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some signs of Verdigris visible. One of the clear glass liners has a star-cut base and there is variation between the liners in shape. Indistinctly marked to the back of the legs. Tests around 92% silver.
