Lot Description
A modern silver combination bookmark and page keeper, the clip of oblong engine-turned form with spring loaded pivoting arm mechanism, hallmarked Asprey & Co Ltd., London 1979, Pat No. 257529, length measuring 7.3 cm. Together a small novelty pin cushion modelled as a English bulldog, marked 925, plus a modern silver figure of an owl upon a plinth, hallmarked London 1985. (3).

Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The combination bookmark/page keeper appears to be in working order, the pivoting arm is slightly bent, hallmarks clear and legible, further marked 'Asprey London' to the clip, the arm has partial hallmarks and is further marked 'Made in England'. The plinth which the owl figure is upon has a hole beneath the base with foil stuck inside, the bay appears to be missing.
