A late Victorian silver nurse's belt buckle, the openwork form with embossed floral and scroll motifs. Hallmarked E S Barnsley & Co (Edward Souter Barnsley), Birmingham 1897. Width measures 12.7 cm, weight 64.1 grams.

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Multiple solder repairs to the back of both pieces. Hallmarks clear and legible.
