A George III silver nutmeg grater, of plain ovoid form with screw thread detachable cover, opening to reveal a removable metal grater. Hallmarked I T, Birmingham 1798. Length measures 3.7 cm, gross weight 14.7 grams.

Condition Report

In fair to good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor bumps/dints to the top. The metal grater is significantly rusted with some residue visible. The case shuts flush and securely. Hallmarks slightly rubbed and worn but still legible.
