Condition Report
In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy repairs and visible solder all around the join between the raised rim and flat centre, more noticeable when viewed on the underside, some minor holes and flaking also visible. Heavier wear to the centre with some movement when compressed. The waiter appears slightly mis-shapen in its circular form with significant wear to the beaded edge and minor loss of definition to the decoration. Leopard's head and lion passant rubbed but legible, maker's mark over stamped on the date letter, possibly Robert Jones I, 1773.
