Lot Description
A George II silver table spoon, of Hanoverian pattern with engraved initials to the terminal verso and scallop shell to the heel, bottom struck hallmarks for Ebenezer Coker, London 1753, length measuring 8 inches (20.5 cm). Together with a George III pair of silver table spoons, of Old English pattern with engraved initial to the terminal, hallmarked Peter & William Bateman, London 1809, a George III pair of silver table spoons, of double struck King's pattern with engraved monogram to the terminal, hallmarked London 1818, plus a further George III silver tablespoon with monogrammed terminal. Gross weight 14.1 ozt (439.8 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The 1809 pair are engraved with the initial 'M'. The bowl of the George II table spoon has quite a bumpy surface and appears quite worn to the tip and edges, the terminal verso is engraved with the initials 'A C I S'. Some loss of definition the the heel on the singular George III example. Majority of hallmarks clear and legible.
