Lot Description
An Edwardian platinum diamond and natural pearl brooch. The drop-shape pearl and old-cut diamond surmount, suspended within a vari-cut diamond wreath with old-cut diamond collet highlights. Verbal from GCS, stating natural, saltwater. Estimated total principal old-cut diamond weight 2cts, H-J colour, VS2-P1 clarity. Diameter 3.3cms. Weight 9.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Alterations to the drop.
<li>Estimated total diamond weight 2.40cts.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of non-principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>One small diamond chipped.
<li>Pearl is slightly off oval. Pearl is a silvery white hue. Small cracks visible to the reverse.
