Lot Description

A early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl necklace. The split pearl floral cluster, detachable from a split pearl articulated foliate line, to the split pearl line sides and fancy-link back-chain. Length 43.5cms. Weight 19.1gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Detachable cluster can be worn as a brooch.

<li>The chain has been extended, at the clasp, with a different style of chain, slightly discoloured. Chain extension untested for metal content.

<li>Split pearls are a well matched, white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.

<li>Split pearls in good condition with minor natural blemishes.<p>

<li>Diameter of cluster drop/brooch 28mms.
