Lot Description

An Edwardian silver mounted hip flask, the clear glass body with removable plain silver cup to the lower half, with silver neck mount and globular hinged lid with bayonet closing. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd., London 1901. Height 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm).

Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches in keeping with the age and use. Some tarnishing to the silver mounts. Large dint to the top of the lid. Hinged bayonet closing appears in good working order. Some cork is present. The silver cup with a couple of minor surface dints. A few minor edge nibbles to glass. Hallmarked to cup, lid and neck mount, some of these are quite heavily rubbed.
