Lot Description
A mid-eighteenth century Russian silver-gilt spirit cup with scroll handle, the cylindrical body decorated with a wide scrolling foliate band. Assay marks struck to base for Moscow 1762, various maker mark's with possible attribution to Grigory Serebrianikov (Serabrayanikov) and Fedor (Fyedor) Petrov, alongside one other mark, and a repeated city mark to handle. Height 4 cm, weight 34 grams.

Condition Report
Displaying general surface wear, marks, scratches and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. Overall planished appearance. Several dints and bumps around the base. Floods of solder at joins of handle to main body, possible repairs? Slight distortion to marks but mostly legible.
