Lot Description
An eighteenth century Russian silver vodka cup, the cusped oval form decorated with rocaille and scroll motifs and raised on a flared oval foot, with scroll handle. Assay marks struck to base for Moscow 1774, with maker's mark 'A.A' and further Assay master mark to handle. Height 4 cm, weight 31.6 grams.

Condition Report
Heavy tarnishing to some areas and would benefit from a clean and polish. Displaying general surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. A few minor surface dints and bumps, including to the foot rim edge. Some rubbing and slight loss of surface detail to areas of the decoration. Flood of solder visible around join of top of handle to the main body, possible repairs and also around join of foot. Some rubbing and distortion to marks but mostly legible. Part of an assay mark also visible to handle but mostly clipped.
