Lot Description
A mid-twentieth century silver compact by Georg Jensen, the circular form engraved with flowers, geese and rams head motifs and opening to reveal a mirror plate within bead border. Oval incuse maker's mark alongside designer mark for Harald Nielsen, further impressed Denmark sterling and hallmarked London import 1965. Diameter measuring 2 5/8 inches (6.7 cm).

Condition Report
Displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear commensurate with age and use. Numerous surface scratches and nicks and a few minor dints. Hinge and clasp appear in good working order although rises slightly when closed creating a small gap. Some rubbing to marks but mostly clear and legible. Small edge chip to glass and further minor nibbles.
