Lot Description
A silver and enamel cigarette case, the rounded rectangular form with enamel panel depicting a profile portrait of two horses side by side, one black and one brown. Hallmarked Heinrich Levinger, Birmingham import, probably 1904. Length measuring 3 3/8 inches (8.5 cm), gross weight 4.29 ozt (133.4 grams).

Condition Report
Silver is very heavily tarnished. Displaying some general surface wear, marks and scratches. A few surface nicks and scratches to enamel and minor edge nibbles but has generally faired well. Hinges and clasp appear in good working order and closes flush. Hallmarked to interior, these clear and legible. Likely re-gilded.
