Lot Description
An early nineteenth century silver pendant vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, the rounded rectangular form with floral rim enclosing foliate and stipple punch engraved borders, the hinged lid with central panel engraved 'Forget me not' and opening to a silver-gilt interior with flower and scroll pierced grille. Hallmarked Birmingham probably 1830. Length measuring 3.2 cm, gross weight 13.3 grams.

Condition Report
Displaying surface wear and tarnishing throughout. With some scratched marks and numerous little surface dints and bumps, especially noticeable to the lid and base and when viewed from interior. Heavier wear around edges and some rubbing and wear to decoration. Hinged lids appear in good working order. Residues to interior. Hallmarks rubbed but mostly legible.
