Lot Description

A late Victorian silver mug in Georgian style, of plain baluster form with foliate capped scrolled handle and raised upon a stepped foot. Hallmarked Samuel Walton Smith, London 1898. Height measuring 5 1/4 inches (13.5 cm), weight 8.08 ozt (251.4 grams).

Condition Report

Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. A couple of slight dints and bumps. Hallmarks rubbed and worn but still legible. Retailer's mark to underside 'Boodle & Dunthorne, Liverpool'.
