A 1920's small silver cup & cover.

Lot Description
A 1920's small silver cup and cover, of circular form with twin scroll flat capped handles and raised upon circular foot, having embossed acanthus leaf decoration bellow a reed and ribbon border, the slightly domed cover with conforming acanthus leaf motifs and cone finial lifting to reveal a gilded interior. Hallmarked Thomas of New Bond Street, London 1925, with further impressed maker's name to base. Height 4.5" (11.5cm), weight 8.11 ozt (252.2 grams).

Appears in good overall condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Very slightly unsteady on foot, and small nicks to edge of cup rim and cover.
